Week 6 — Take It to Class: Daily Digits

This week’s Take It to Class builds on last week’s Play & Reflect by bringing Daily Digits into your classroom.

Daily Digits is designed to support number sense and fluency through short, adaptive games and puzzles that invite students to think, notice patterns, and make decisions. Rather than emphasizing speed or memorization alone, the routine encourages perseverance, flexibility, and strategic thinking.

As you bring Daily Digits to your students this week, we invite you to observe:

  • How students feel when engaging with the routine
  • How successful they feel
  • How they respond to challenge and feedback

Take It to Class

To get started, add or invite students to your class using the green “Add Students” button in the dashboard.

Then try Daily Digits with your students in a way that fits your classroom:

  • As a short warm-up
  • As a center or small-group activity
  • As a brain break or independent routine

Let students play, notice, and adapt. You don’t need to explain everything up front—part of the power of Daily Digits is that students learn by doing.

Reflect on the Experience

After trying Daily Digits with your students, reflect on the following:

  • How did your students respond to Daily Digits?
  • How did they feel while playing?
  • How successful did they seem?
  • Anything that surprised you?

Submit your reflection by 2/18/2026 for a chance to win a gift card to the Tile Farm marketplace.
