Tile Farm Joins the LA STEM Collective

We are excited to officially share that Tile Farm is now a member of the LA STEM Collective

The LA STEM Collective is a growing network of over 140 organizations passionate about increasing access to STEM in Los Angeles County.

Los Angeles has long been one of our home bases. We have been lucky to be part of the City of STEM Festival for the past few years, and Tile Farm is now being used across Los Angeles County in settings ranging from the Institute for Educational Advancement to Pasadena Unified School District.

The LA STEM Collective brings together an incredible range of members, including organizations like the Los Angeles Public Library, the LA Zoo, museums, universities, school districts, and community based programs that reach learners across the region. We are inspired by the shared commitment to access, creativity, joy, and beauty in STEM, and by the belief that meaningful out of school time experiences play a powerful role in helping young people discover how to truly love STEM.

We are especially excited to bring more attention to the M in STEM, by showing that math can be visual, creative, joyful, beautiful, and deeply human. We look forward to learning from this community and collaborating with organizations that are shaping the future of education in Los Angeles and beyond.
